Product Line
As a Net Branch Manager and Loan Originator, you can only get a new customer if you have the product that meets their needs and they want to buy. To maximize your success, you need to be able to understand what each customer needs and wants and then give it to them. By having a full product line to back you up you will more often than not get the deal. Your Net Branch Provider should provide you access to every loan product under the sun. At a minimum, the Product line must include:
- Conventional
- Government Loans (FHA, VA)
- Jumbo
- Sub-prime
- Interest Only
- Reverse Mortgages
If a customer requests an uncommon product or service, you should confidently be able to answer, “I know one of our Investors offers that product. Let me find out which Investor it is and get it for you.”

Investors can change their loan rates daily to limit the amount of new loans they put on their books. If they need more loan volume, they lower rates and vice versa. This allows you to choose the best product/rate combination and be certain that your customer is receiving the most competitive loan rate.
